REMINGTON PARK ALTERS RACING SCHEDULE DUE TO FORECAST OF WINTER WEATHER
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – March 9, 2022 – A forecasted blast of winter weather throughout Oklahoma, expected Thursday, March 10 and continuing overnight to Friday, March 11, has led to a change in the racing schedule at Remington Park.
Remington Park officials, working with representatives of the Oklahoma Quarter Horse Racing Association, have agreed to rearrange some race dates and post times in order to avoid the anticipated winter weather.
The Remington Park racing program for Thursday, March 10 will be moved earlier in the day to begin at Noon. There will be no racing on Friday night, March 11. The schedule returns to normal for Saturday, March 12 (6pm start) and Sunday, March 13 (4pm).
The races from Friday night will be moved to Wednesday, March 16 at 6pm. Horses who had already entered for Friday will have first preference for the races that will be re-drawn for the makeup night on March 16.
Remington Park will continue to present normal simulcast racing and the casino will remain open.
The 2022 American Quarter Horse, Paint and Appaloosa Season continues through May 28 at Remington Park
