OLMSTEAD WINS $100,000 REMINGTON PARK JUVENILE FOR THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR, THIS TIME WITH APOLLITIKAL DREAMER

by Richard Linihan

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – April 20, 2026 – For the third consecutive year, trainer Jason Olmstead had his picture taken with the $100,000 Remington Park Juvenile winner, this time with 13-1 longshot Apollitikal Dreamer on Saturday night.

It’s become quite the habit for jockey Ramiro Garcia as well. This was the second year in a row to the winner’s circle for him in this race. He and Olmstead teamed up last year with Juvenile Stakes winner Famous N Relentless, who ran second in the Mr Master Bug Stakes on Saturday. Go back to 2024 and you will find Olmstead in that winner’s circle photo with Relentless American with jockey Edwin Escobedo up.

Apollitikal Dreamer paid a whopping $28.20 to win on a $2 win ticket, $11.40 to place and $6.60 to show. The 2-year-old Oklahoma-bred gelded son of Apollitical Jess, from the Hes Relentless mare One Kool Dreamer, became the second maiden on Saturday to win for the first time in their careers, and against stakes company. He had run second in his Remington Park Futurity trial, beaten soundly by PYC Dollars Cowboy, one of the top four fastest qualifiers for that nearly $1 million final.

Apollitikal Dreamer outfinished runner-up D Amor (7-2) by three-quarters of a length for that first victory, and was another neck in front of third-place finisher Be Iconic (5-2 favorite). The winner stopped the timer for 330 yards in :16.774 over the fast track, good for an 88 speed index. The rest of the order of finish was JC Perseus (22-1) fourth, Small Town Hero (16-1) fifth, Cartel Lady 123 (3-1) sixth, Scif (3-1) seventh, Gold Medalist (25-1) eighth and Lovelee (23-1) ninth. Rockn My Socks was an early scratch from this race.

Apollitikal Dreamer was bred by owner Brenda Reiswig of Bismarck, N.D. He earned $40,816 from the purse for Reiswig and now stands at two starts, one win, one second for $44,216.

Remington Park racing continues Sunday, April 19 with a first post time of 4pm-Central.
