It is the goal of Remington Park, Fair Meadows, Will Rogers Downs and OQHRA to provide a race meeting of the highest quality and free of any horse racing practices that are corrupt, incompetent, dishonest, or unprincipled. The fact that every Quarter Horse, Paint and Appaloosa racehorse must provide a negative hair test prior to entry will provide assurance to every owner and fan wagering on the races that the track is making significant effort to ensure horses are competing without the advantage of prohibited substances.
HAIR TESTING AS A CONDITION OF ENTRY
NO QUARTER HORSE, PAINT OR APPALOOSA HORSE WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER A RACE AT REMINGTON PARK, FAIR MEADOWS OR WILL ROGERS DOWNS UNLESS RESULTS OF A NEGATIVE HAIR TEST HAS BEEN PROVIDED PRIOR TO ENTRY. ALL PRE-ENTRY HAIR TESTING WILL BE FACILITATED BY OQHRA.
