OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—JANUARY 22, 2019 — The Oklahoma Quarter Horse Racing Association (OQHRA) announced today following an extensive search, they have selected Kole Kennemer as the new Executive Director.
Kennemer brings to the position extensive experience in Finance and Management. He grew up on the family ranch in Western Oklahoma and spent his early years on horseback working new cattle. He has a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University with majors in accounting and management and a minor in finance.
Kennemer worked for the House of Representatives in Washington D.C., and most recently served as Chief Financial Officer for an oilfield service company. He and his wife reside in Oklahoma City.
“Please join me in welcoming our new Executive Director,” OQHRA Board President Lake Newcome said in a press release today.
