OKLAHOMA CITY - June 1, 2019 – The final race of the 2019 American Quarter Horse, Paint and Appaloosa Season at Remington Park was Saturday night’s $100,000 Heritage Place Juvenile. The 350-yard event was won by EC Revenge who won his second stakes race of the season with the triumph.

Owned by Elisabeth Logan of Haskell, Okla., EC Revenge rallied to victory under jockey James Flores to score by one length. Trained by Dee Keener, the 2-year-old gelding also won the historic Oklahoma Futurity earlier this season at Remington Park.

The field for the Heritage Place Juvenile had all competed in trials for the Heritage Place Futurity but fell short in making that lucrative event. A total of six of the nine starters in the Juvenile had won their individual trial for the Heritage Place Futurity, including the winner EC Revenge.

Away as the wagering favorite at 3-2 odds, EC Revenge paid $5 to win, $3.20 to place and $2.40 to show. Carters Favorite was second and paid $8.80 to place and $5 to show. DF Mischievious Jess was third, 2-1/2 lengths behind the winner, paying $3 to show.

The win in the Heritage Place Juvenile was the fourth overall for EC Revenge this season who is undefeated through four attempts. The winner’s share of $25,000 increases the bankroll for EC Revenge to $198,282.
