OKLAHOMA CITY – February 8, 2018 -  Sunny skies and southerly winds greeted competitors on Thursday for the second day of training races at Remington Park. Reggies Bailbond handled the second event, winning by a half-length, posting the top time of the session.

Owned by Bret Pevehouse and trained by Clint Crawford, Reggies Bailbond was ridden by Omar Reyes. Starting from the outside post in a seven-horse training event, Reggies Bailbond was under light encouragement, methodically running down his competition. He crossed the finish of his 250 yards in :14.014 over a fast track. The Thursday training races were contested into a southerly wind, ranging from 14-16mph throughout the day.

Reggies Bailbond is an Oklahoma-bred 2-year-old gelding by High Rate Of Return from the Southern Cartel mare Landaluce. 

Training races will be scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 14 at Remington Park.

The 2018 American Quarter Horse, Paint and Appaloosa Season at Remington Park starts with a weekend of activity Friday, March 9 thru Sunday, March 11. The first race on Opening Night, March 9 is at 6pm. The first race on Saturday, March 10 starts at 4pm. Sunday action on March 11 is underway at 1:30pm.

The Remington Park season will continue thru June 2 with a total of 50 race dates scheduled.
