CLOUD RIDGE PULLS CLEAR TO WIN EASY JET STAKES AT REMINGTON PARK

OKLAHOMA CITY - June 3, 2017 – The $50,000 Easy Jet Stakes, one of eight total stakes events on the final night of the 2017 Remington Park American Quarter Horse Season on Saturday, went to Cloud Ridge. The gelding pulled away over the final half of the race to win by a half-length.

Owned and bred in Oklahoma by Randy Davis, of Vinita, Okla. and trained by Stacey Capps, Cloud Ridge handled the 350-yard event for 2-year-old Oklahoma-breds in 17.538 seconds over a fast track. Ridden by Berkley Packer, Cloud Ridge assumed control of the Easy Jet nearing the mid-point of the race and made his foes chase him the rest of the way.
